日本潮流漫畫家井上三太所創作，風靡一時的暴力漫畫《Tokyo Tribe 2》（譯：東京暴族2），總銷量超過250萬單行本，曾經改編為卡通動畫，在去年正式宣布將改編為真人電影《Tokyo Tribe》，因漫畫涉及日本在地黑道街頭火拼，坦克開入東京街頭與大量斷肢等血腥場面，片商考量改編真人版的寫實性，屬意由同樣擅長血腥畫面的鬼才導演園子溫來執導。

其中最受注目的角色「Mera」為先前演出《瘋狂假面》電影男主角的鈴木亮平，女主角則由19歲新人清野菜名飾演，而另一位男主角「出口海」則找到與漫畫相似度極高的饒舌歌手YOUNG DAIS擔任。

這部濃厚的暴力氣息電影，敘述帶有年輕的黑幫份子支配日本街頭，由武藏野的幫派SARU對抗大勢力的池袋WU-RONZ，而衍生出各據山頭的黑幫大亂鬥，其他還包括佐藤隆太、影帝窪塚洋介、中川翔子、染谷將太、寫真女星佐佐木心音、叶姊妹中的葉美香…等多位人氣明星參與，該片在日本將於8月30號上映。
