洋基和光芒今天進行三連戰最後一場比賽，誰贏誰就奪下系列戰的勝利，洋基派出頭號王牌沙巴西亞掛帥主投，結果光芒靠邁爾斯一個人就贏得比賽，他敲出一支深遠的中右外野安打，沒想到竟成為清光壘包的場內全壘打，Myers全場包辦4分打點，率領光芒以5:1擊敗洋基。

上場小老弟田中將大再度繳出七局好投的優質先發，C.C.Sabathia身為球隊頭號王牌，防禦率卻高達5.11，想要塑立老大哥的輩分，結果身體沒熱就掉分。

Longoria第一球就出棒，場地二壘安打立刻送回光芒第一分，但讓C.C.最心痛的還不是慾望師奶，而是WilMyers。

從來不以腳程見長，但Myers這球打的好不如打的巧，一開始打起來還直覺是全壘打慢慢跑，彈回來之後才開始加速，結果依舊來的及，這棒哪怕不是新洋基球場首支場內全壘打，好歹也是2014球季第一支，沒想到才隔一局，怎麼還是你。

Myers這回掃到左半邊依舊打的巧，強勁車布邊安打，哪怕沒能一次跑回來，依舊是個重傷害，這棒除了又是一分打點，也把3.2局痛失5分的Sabathia給打退場，終場光芒就靠著Myers單場4分打點的挹助，5:1擊敗洋基，也拿下了系列戰勝利。
