紅十字會：菲國海燕災民仍困頓

慈善組織紅十字會(Red Cross)今天(5日)表示，去年11月橫掃菲律賓的海燕颱風造成嚴重災情，而如今半年過去了，災民仍面臨不少問題待解，例如尋找長期居所及工作機會等。
菲律賓官員與紅十字會表示，目前毋需擔心飲食醫療等資源，但無法立即滿足其他需求。
菲律賓紅十字會祕書長彭玉美(Gwendolyn Pang)表示，「直至今日，我們仍聽到不少災民生活過得相當苦，希望外界給予援助」。
根據紅十字會的統計，菲國史上最強颱風海燕去年11月8日襲捲菲國中部，造成6,293人死亡、1,061人失蹤，以及410萬人流離失所。
