馬英九總統母親秦厚修2日病逝，馬家預定明天一早為秦厚修舉行家祭，隨即火化入厝。馬總統大姊馬以南和三姊馬冰如下午3時55分抵達秦厚修停靈的台北市立第二殯儀館，在葬儀社人員陪同下進入「遺體化妝室」，幫母親後事進行相關準備事宜。

馬以南和馬冰如稍早前往凱道，聲援新黨舉辦的「新五四愛國運動」。兩人抵達第二殯儀館時，手上還拿著從凱道獲贈的紅色康乃馨。

今天下午還有一位與秦厚修相識60載的老奶奶，前往第二殯儀館看老友最後一面。老奶奶受訪時神情哀傷，直說秦厚修是「無話可說的好人」。
